In the software, tap anywhere on the screen to access the main menu, then tap Unlock Admin. Type in your password, then tap Tools>Configure Demo Belts.
Demo belts are an excellent way for your members to try Myzone before they buy. They will be able to experience their own personalized live tile and get a taste of how real-time feedback enhances their motivation and effort. A demo belt only provides the live in-club experience and so there are many benefits to members purchasing their own belt:
- Their belt is their own
- They would have their own account to track all their workouts inside and outside the club
- The belt will calibrate to the user for more accurate data
- They can take part in Myzone Challenges
- Connect with friends in the Myzone App
- Build up their Myzone Status

Configuring Demo Belts
- Designate a spot for your demo belts to live. We recommend numbering the modules with a label/sticker to make them easy to identify. It is also a good idea to purchase extra red straps so that you are able to give fresh straps to members.
- In the Myzone software, tap anywhere on the screen to access the main menu, then tap on Unlock Admin, type in your admin password (owner), then tap on Tools from the main menu.
- Tap on Configure Demo Belts.
- To add a new belt, tap on the green plus sign at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Enter the device ID# which can be found on the back of the black module. Add a nickname for the demo belt (an example would be DEMO1, DEMO2 etc.). Tap the red arrow to save and return to the main display.
- These demo belts are now configured in the Myzone software and ready to assign to members who wish to try them when they are ready.
- If wish to use these demo belts on other consoles at your gym, tap on the sync icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. This syncs the configured demo belts onto other consoles at your facility.
NOTE: This is a one-time process. You will only need to complete the process again if you need to add more demo belts.
Assigning Demo Belts
In the Myzone software, tap anywhere on the Myzone screen to access the main menu, then tap on Demo Belts. Select the demo belt they have been assigned for the session.
Enter the member’s information – name, gender, age, weight. Tap the green tick to save.
The member should then be instructed to put the belt on. Once it activates, their tile will appear on the screen.
Once the member has finished their workout and has taken the demo belt off, their information will not be stored on the demo belt.
Deleting Demo Belts
If you need to delete a demo belt, return to Tools and Configure Demo Belts in the software. Select the demo belt you wish to delete, then tap the trash can.
Deleting a demo belt will free up that module so it is available to register for personal use.
