How to Run a MZ-Club Class

You can start your MZ-Club class from the Admin Portal's Booking Diary

Starting Your Class 

1. Log into your Myzone account at http://owner.myzone.org 

2. Select Classes

3. Click Booking Diary and locate your class. You will see both a Class ID in purple and your Zoom Link in black. NOTE: The Class ID will only display if at least one person has signed up for the class.

4. Launch your class by clicking the MZ-Club ID.  This takes you directly to the live board for this class, where you can see participants' tiles.  

5. Launch Zoom: Click the Zoom link. You will get a prompt to launch Zoom. Click Join Meeting with Computer Audio when you are ready. 

6. Minimize Zoom and position the thumbnail where it will not block the view of the live board. 

7. Check your settings to ensure that the microphone in Zoom is correctly configured for your device.

Communication with participants:

  1. Instructors communicate with class participants through the app.
  2. Initially, all participants have their camera off and microphone muted.
  3. Participants can share their video with the instructor by tapping the red camera on their tile.
  4. Only the instructor will be able to see participants who share their camera.
  5. Participants can disable their camera by tapping the green camera on their tile.
  6. To enable a participant's audio, the instructor must select "Unmute" on the participant's Zoom tile. This sends a prompt to the participant's mobile device.
  7. Once the participant confirms that they want to unmute their microphone, their audio will be heard by the instructor and all other participants.
  8. Participants can mute themselves again by tapping the red microphone in the app, or the instructor can mute them in Zoom.
