MZ-Smart Station Technical Requirements

This guide explains all physical and technical requirements needed to facilitate MZ-Smart station.

In order to set up MZ-Smart Station successfully, please follow the below tech requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 Myzone PCs each connected to a receiver. At least 1 touchscreen is required.
  • 1 Myzone receiver for each Myzone PC
  • Myzone PCs need to be all licensed to the same facility code
  • All Myzone PCs have a strong and stable internet connection and correct firewall permissions are enabled, further details below.
  • We recommend an internet speed of 5 MPBPS (check yours on fast.com) and a constant, unfiltered connection to the internet is needed for the software to work.
  • We highly recommend a wired connection to ensure an uninterrupted connection with the internet. If Wi-Fi is used, then please make sure that the location of the PC has a strong Wi-Fi signal.
  • Local firewalls must allow ports 80 and 443 for outbound internet traffic.
  • Port 8080 needs to be open for internal (LAN) traffic (but not for internet traffic) to allow easy control/ management of the Myzone software.
  • To be able to manage the software through the Myzone app, Port 11011 needs to be open for internal UDP traffic (not for internet traffic.)
