GDPR guidelines ensure that individual privacy is protected. You will need to complete a specific GDPR agreement to view member data on your Admin Portal under 'Licences.'
The European Union has taken a monumental step in protecting the fundamental right to privacy for every EU resident with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which was effective from May 25, 2018.
Any organization that works with EU residents' personal data in any manner, irrespective of location, has obligations to protect the data. Myzone provides tools and processes to support its users and customers in meeting GDPR guidelines. As a club operator, you are obligated to adhere to the GDPR agreement through your admin portal if you need to view or edit member data. Below are steps that will help you complete this simple 5 minute action on your backend:
Step 1: Determine what level your facility is. NOTE: Most U.S.A. facilities opt into LEVEL 2 as they do not have any European Union (EU) citizens.
Step 2: Click on your admin portal, then select Facility License.
3. Select all boxes at the top of the page, including your facility(s), then scroll down to your desired level.
4. Click on Complete Agreement, which will bring up the license agreement and require completion.
5. Fill out the required fields, then verify the agreement sent to your email provided.
6. Go back to your Facility License (Myzone account page) and Confirm Agreement the agreement.
7. To ensure that member data is visible, click on Myzone Users from your admin portal. You will be able to view their information and have the ability to edit member data.
